Emotions affect so much of our behavior at work, but we are often unaware of them. In this session we will practice identifying our own emotions and those of our coworkers, leading to better relationships and more effective teamwork.
Session 2: Respecting Differences
Available soonWe all have different personalities and they are all good. However, we experience a wide variety of emotions as we interact with people who are different than us. We will use the DISC profile to grow in understanding and respect of ourselves and others we work with. We will grow in our ability to encourage our teammates towards common goals.
Session 3: Forming Healthy Habits
Available soonDifficult situations produce strong emotions in us which lead us into habitual and often unhelpful behavior. In this session we will learn a process by which we can identify both our emotions and the source of those feelings. We’ll learn some tools that we can use to adjust our response to these situations and choose healthy habits. By working together, we can all grow as productive team members.
Session 4: Stress Management
Available soonStress is a natural part of modern life that helps us excel. Managed poorly, however, it can hurt our health, relationships and productivity. In this session you will learn to identify your own stress response and develop some techniques to help you manage the stress in your life.
Session 5: Active Listening
Available soonOne of the most important leadership skills is listening. When we fail to listen well we make poor decisions without all the needed information. This session will help you develop active listening skills, learning to listen with the head and heart and asking powerful questions. Active listening leads to more connected and effective teams.
Session 6: Conflict Resolution
Available soonConflicts are an unavoidable part of life and work. However, when managed well they can draw us together as a team rather than tear us apart. We will practice skills of conflict resolution that can help you resolve your difference well and move forward towards win-win solutions.
